DC Comics July, 2013 Solicitations! Tom Strong, Collider, Batman ’66, and More!

It looks like July will be a huge month for DC Comics and, in particular, the Justice League.

July will see the start of the Trinity War in all of the Justice League comic books. The DC titles that will be affected by the Trinity War include Justice League, Justice League of America, and Justice League Dark. Other titles that will be closely related to the Trinity War will be Trinity of Sin: Pandora, Constantine, and Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger. So, if you want to be on board the next big thing for DC Comics this year, be sure to add all of the Trinity War issues to your pull list.

Also, if you’re a fan of Batman Incorporated, I should let you know right now that Batman Incorporated #13, which ships in July, is the last issue of that fan favorite series.

But have no fear! If you are a fan of Batman, especially the 1960s version of the Batman TV series, then you will want to pick up Batman ’66 #1 which will be on the shelves in July. This brand new series will be written by Jeff Parker with art by Jonathan Case and will feature all of your favorite rogues gallery villains that fight Batman as well Catwoman. This is the first time ever that the Batman TV series has ever been put in comic book form so if you were a fan of the sixties Batman TV series, be sure to add this to your pull list.

And for those of you who have missed America’s Best Comics, we see the return of Tom Strong to the shelves in July. Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril #1 hits the shelves in July written by Peter Hogan with art by Chris Sprouse. Be sure to check out this new mini series that sees Tom Strong powerless and fighting to save his daughter and her unborn child!

There are also a ton of new hardcover and paperback collections that will be available from all of your favorite DC comic book titles. Be sure you either visit the comic shop or call the shop to add these new issues to your pull list!
