Galactus
With all of the hype and torrents of news coming out about all kinds of new comic properties being made into movies, we’ve heard about a bit of a dilemma for Marvel Studios.
See, Marvel is wanting to go galactic for some of their future movies, it makes sense for them to want to use some of their most recognized galactic characters, Galactus and The Silver Surfer.
The problem is that they don’t own the movie rights to these characters. Fox Studios does.
The possible solution? The rights for Daredevil are about to revert back to Marvel Studios but it looks like Marvel may give Fox Studios more time with Daredevil if Fox will allow them to use the galactic characters they want…Galactus and Silver Surfer.
This is still developing, but I expect there to be a more definitive answer soon since they’ve lined up director Josh Trank (“Chronicle”) to reboot the Fantastic Four franchise…something I can wait to see!
The possibility of a Thanos and Guardians team-up against Galactus alone is worth the trade. If that means I have to wait a few more years for Daredevil, then so be it.
That would actually be pretty awesome to see!
I can wait on Daredevil as well.
Galactus eating the planet near the milkyway’s black hole would be a good plot.
Works for me!
