Thoughts and Prayers are with the Victims of TDKR Massacre

The other day I made a post about enjoying the new Dark Knight movie and not hurting anyone while seeing it. That post was made in jest to the news that a reviewer at Rotten Tomatoes was receiving death threats for his negative review of The Dark Knight Rises. Later it was revealed that the reviewer hadn’t actually seen the movie and then comments were disabled on Rotten Tomatoes on his particular post, and he lost all credibility on the site because of his actions.

Late last night, I was presented with the terrible news that a 24 year old male by the name of James Holmes went to a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises and tossed a gas grenade of some kind into the crowd, then pulled out a pistol and a rifle and opened fire on the crowd, so far killing 12 people and injuring between 30-50 people.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families involved in this tragedy and this isn’t something that we take lightly. Why anyone would want to commit such a horrendous act is beyond my ability to even comprehend. It’s sad, tragic, and unnecessary.

Please say a prayer for those involved today. It’s going to be a long day in Aurora, Colorado.
